homemade baked goodies from Zion's Bake Table along
with coffee and tea. In addition, Scarecrow Festival vendors
Memaw's Bakery Barn, Doughlicious Cookies & Creations,
Lynn's Flavor Fusion and Sweets by Steph will be selling a
variety of tasty treats. Anna's Lemonade will also be onsite
      selling freshly made lemonade.

The Committee is excited that homemade Apple Fritters will
once again be made onsite. They made their return at last
year's Scarecrow Festival and sold out. A long time church
member, Eleanor Oberempt, made her delicious apple frit-
ters for years but passed away several years ago. The fritters
were missed by all, so last year the Committee decided the
fritters needed to return. Pat Doerr, a committee member,
stepped up and warm Apple Fritters were available while
supplies lasted. Don't wait this year to get your tasty, deli-
      cious apple fritters.

The Scarecrow Festival Committee hopes you will join them
      on Saturday, October 18, 2025 between 10 am - 3 pm on
the spacious church grounds at 235 Pond Hill Road, Walling-
ford to support this great cause. The church members are
always thrilled when at Celebrate Wallingford community
members stop by the church and preschool table with fond
memories of past festivals and/or attending Little Zion Pre-
school. The Committee expects with the community’s sup-
port this event will continue to grow each year and support
      more great causes.

Anyone with questions about the Scarecrow Festival or the
church itself can call the church office at 203-269-6847.
