Advancing Wallingford:
New EDC Team
On January 6th, your Economic
Development Commission held
leadership elections. Anthony
Bracale is the new Chair and Frank
Apuzzo is the Vice Chair. Regular
members serve 5-year terms and
Alternate members serve 2-year
terms. As can be seen in the
information below, a majority of
the members are serving their
first terms, with several serving
previous commissioners’ terms. In
fact, a majority of commissioners
began their service in 2024.
What you will see below is a very
substantial changeover of the
EDC commissioners, all of whom
are bringing their entrepreneurial
and professional perspectives
to this board. The commission
is staffed by members of the
Program Planning department.
Economic Development Specialist
Don Crouch is in his second
year in that position and EDC
Secretary Stacie McCarthy started
in late September of 2024, having
worked at People’s United Bank
for over 26 years, most recently as
a Marketing and Product Manager
round out the team.
