Connecticut Artist Roger Straub is the creator
of MAC O’MOODUS COMICS. Roger grew up in
Wallingford and his Mac character is based on the
look a friend of his from Wallingford had when they
were in a band together in their high school years.
His name is Phil Wright and he was the Wallingford
Judge of Probate until his retirement a year ago.
Roger has had his comic run in many prominent
publications around Connecticut.
He creates them in his studio in a red shed house in
Moodus, Connecticut. In addition to the wonderful
images, Roger is a master of the plays on words that
are the humorous lines below the comic images.
